Astra Mela is a learning and planning product under EG, Eric Guo’s personal brand, operated by Eric Guo. This notice explains what happens to your information when you use it.
Voluntary contributions / 自愿分享
Your drafts remain private. If you submit a resource or creative work, you authorize the site operator to review that submitted content and attachment. Approved contributions show your display name, chosen content and creation date to signed-in members. Submitting does not expose your other files, notes or calendar. You can withdraw a contribution; copies already downloaded cannot be recalled. Only share material you have the right to distribute, including permission from people depicted or recorded.

Your account and information
We store your sign-in email, name, optional photo, preferences, password hash, recovery-code hash, saved tasks, notes, journal, practice responses and uploaded files. We also record the agreement version and time you accept it. Your sign-in email identifies your account; ordinary email registration does not verify ownership. Optional school verification checks your school-issued Google identity. We store its unique account identifier, verified email and verification time to prevent the same identity being linked to multiple accounts. Eligible members review separate community rules before entering a school space. School verification does not read Gmail or grant calendar access. Password recovery uses your saved recovery code, not an email reset.
Separate workspaces
Other members cannot use the website to read or change your workspace, files or calendar. Signing up does not share these with Eric’s member account. Shared resources and Eric’s published updates are separate from your personal records.

Storage and operational access
Saved information is processed on hosting infrastructure provided through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare, which may be outside your country. This service is not end-to-end encrypted: the operator and hosting providers may technically access stored information to run, maintain, restore or secure the service. Access should be limited to those purposes. Do not upload information whose confidentiality requires protection from the server operator.
数据并非端到端加密；运营者及托管服务商在必要运维、安全处理或恢复时可能接触存储内容。账号隔离不等于服务器无法读取。
Connections and verification
Google Calendar is optional. Connecting it permits the calendar access described by Google’s consent screen. Connection tokens are stored encrypted on the server and are used to refresh access and carry out your calendar actions. Disconnect in Connections or revoke access in your Google account. Google’s own policies apply. Cloudflare Turnstile, when enabled, processes browser and network signals to detect automated abuse. Sign-in cookies keep your session; browser storage remembers interface preferences and the welcome guide.
Use, retention and your choices
Information is used to provide your workspace, remember settings, prevent abuse and support recovery. We do not sell your workspace content or use it for advertising. You can edit or delete individual records and files, download a backup, remove your photo, or disconnect an integration. Deleted information may remain in previously made backups until those copies are replaced or removed. There is no promised automatic deletion deadline for backup copies. Contact Eric through the contact channel supplied with your invitation to request account closure, correction, or help with data removal; closure is currently handled manually. Your downloaded copies and files you have shared remain under their recipients’ control.
Protection and limits
Account checks, password hashing, sign-in limits and protected file endpoints reduce risk. No online service can promise that attacks, outages or data loss will never occur. Keep an independent backup and protect your password and recovery code.
Terms of use
This is an evolving trial service for personal planning and learning. Availability and features may change. The initial member limits are 25 accounts, 1,000 records and 50 MB of files per account.
Use your own account. Do not attempt to access another person’s information, bypass verification, overload the service or upload harmful content. Only upload or share material you have permission to use. Shared resources remain subject to their creators’ rights; a watermark does not transfer copyright or permission. External sites have their own rules and availability.
Your own writing remains yours. Uploading it permits the processing needed to provide the service, not publication or advertising use. Public or member-shared posting requires a separate explicit publishing action. Accounts used for abuse may be restricted to protect the service. Learning material is for practice, not an official exam or score guarantee.
Material changes to these terms or privacy practices will be presented for review. Acceptance records apply only to the version you agreed to; continuing to browse is not a substitute for an explicit agreement where one is required. Questions or withdrawal requests can be sent to Eric using your invitation’s contact channel.
